Long Overdue Facelift for Sandstone Point Marina Brings a New Era of Waterfront Living
- October 16, 2025

Ignite Projects is proud to support the long-awaited multi-million dollar upgrade of Sandstone Point Marina, marking the first major redevelopment of the precinct in more than 40 years.
The Sandstone Point Marina redevelopment is set to redefine the area's connection to the waterfront, creating a hub that blends dining, recreation, and marine functionality. The masterplan includes a new expansive public boardwalk, enhanced pedestrian access to Spinnaker Drive, lush landscaped spaces, and new waterfront dining experiences for locals and visitors alike.

A New Waterfront Experience for the Community
The revitalisation of Sandstone Point Marina will introduce new tenancies, alfresco dining, and recreational areas designed to maximise views across the marina and Pumicestone Passage.
Josh Foote, owner of Sandstone Point Marina, shared his vision: "From the proposed expansion of the Sandstone Point Hotel to the Bribie bridge upgrade and new residential apartments, this region is undergoing rapid growth and modernisation. It makes sense for the marina to also receive a facelift."
State-of-the-Art Facilities for Boaties
For boating enthusiasts, 24/7 automated fuel services have already been installed to enhance convenience. The marina will also provide additional berths for smaller vessels, ensuring improved access for both recreational and commercial operators.
A Vibrant Destination for Locals and Visitors
The Sandstone Point Marina upgrade will further establish the area as a recreation and lifestyle hub for Moreton Bay. The new boardwalk and dining precinct will provide a vibrant place for families, visitors, and locals to gather, dine, and connect with the waterfront.
