Queensland State Government has just given the green light to a landmark $100 million new precinct on Seaworld Drive at Main Beach that will aim to create a world-class precinct at the gateway to The Spit.
Named 'The Isles', local developer Ignite Projects has been selected to undertake the new development, being delivered under The Spit Masterplan.

What's Coming?
- Extensive public realm upgrades, including boardwalks, car parks, playgrounds, and lush landscaping
- An 18-berth boutique commercial marina
- 27 luxury two- and three-bedroom apartments
- Around 250 square metres of waterfront dining
What They Said
Deputy Premier Jarrod Bleijie said: "The Crisafulli Government has drawn a line in the sand. We're not just talking about the land's potential, we're delivering on it."
Member for Surfers Paradise John-Paul Langbroek said: "This plan is a game changer and it sends a clear message that Queensland is open for business."
Part of a Bigger Plan
The Isles marks the third major milestone under The Spit Master Plan, a bold State Government vision to revitalise the peninsula through public and private investment.
Ignite Projects Director Josh Foote said the project was about more than luxury living. "This is an exciting opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a site loved by locals and tourists."
