MAIN Beach’s newest luxury tower project is one step closer to reality with McNab Construction appointed to build The Monaco.
The move is a show of confidence in the Gold Coast market, according to developer Ignite Projects who secured McNab amid growing buyer demand for premium residences in Main Beach.
Ignite Projects Managing Director Josh Foote anticipates construction of 25-level tower, adjacent to The Southport Marina, would start mid next year and take 20 months to complete.
“The concept for The Monaco started with securing one of the best sites on the Gold Coast,” Mr Foote said.“This location has allowed us to create a building that is unlike anything else on the market, complete with a car elevator and sky garage that allows buyers to bring their luxury cars into their apartment, custom designed kitchens for every buyer and up to 362 sqm of living space.”
McNab Construction Manager Mark Jewell said The Monaco is a trophy project for the builder.
“There’s a great synergy between The Monaco and McNab in terms of the strong focus on quality, meticulous attention to detail and uniqueness,” he said.
“The location opposite the Southport Marina provides a great canvas for us to work from to create a building that will become a landmark for Main Beach.”
“We’re expecting construction will support over 200 construction jobs a day during peak times.
