A LUXURY “exclusive” private beach club will be built in a new tower planned for Palm Beach, featuring everything from a pool to a Caribbean resort theme.
The beach club is the central feature of the proposed Cabana Palm Beach tower put forward by developer Ignite Projects which bought the site three months ago.
Ignite managing director Josh Foote said it was designed with a trademark feature to suit the site.
“We acquired the site for Cabana about three months ago, and at the time the conversation about commercialising beaches to include resort-style amenities and services had reignited, so it became an inspiration for what we will deliver for our residents.
“Cabana will have Caribbean resort influences, with white washed timber, cotton-draped cabanas and coconut palms surrounding a pool and barbecue area, all just steps from the white sand and pristine Palm Beach.”
“The building is opposite the new artificial reef at Palm Beach, so we have included surfboard storage as part of the recreation area, so residents can go from the pool straight to the ocean when they spot good waves.”
The new Palm Beach tower will feature 34 units aimed at the downsizer market.
Registrations of interest are already being taken, with prices starting from about $2 million.
Ignite is the developer behind the controversial Monaco tower planned for Main Beach.
