Green Light for The Isles — Ignite Projects’ $100M Spit Development Approved

Ignite Projects, led by Josh Foote, has received State Government approval for The Isles — a landmark $100 million mixed-use development at the Southern Gateway site on The Spit, Gold Coast.
The project will deliver 27 luxury residences, a boutique 18-berth commercial marina, waterfront dining, and $2.7 million in public infrastructure upgrades including a new boardwalk, playground, parking, and landscaping.
Designed by Contreras Earl Architecture, The Isles features a distinctive curved façade inspired by the calm rhythms of the Broadwater and a central landscaped courtyard. Construction is expected to commence in 2026.
